Here they are then... the long awaited official Batchworth unofficial league tables for 2005.
Despite an outstanding week-end for all the Amathus crews they have to make do with second in both leagues so it's a big congratulations to WAM for taking pole in the standard.

Batchworth missed out on their chance to take maximum points in the league at the week-end - succumbing to something akin to a motor boat finish by Amathus with the two teams knocking 15 and 20 seconds(!) respectively off the days best times up to that point. Rumours abound that a certain Bangsie fellow even had his waterskis out, such was their finishing speed!

Batchworth succumbed to a potent Amathus team at the Worcester race course over the week-end. Losing out in the battle for the 200m event and then yet again by mere fractions of a second in a hotly contested 450m final.

8 Aug 2005
More medals for the GB womens team - bronze in both the 200m and 500m events after what appears to be very tight finals all round.

Congratulations to the GB womens crew - silver in the 1000m event!
Sadly there seems to be a distinct lack of results posted on the official championships web site though.
